How to increase Alexa Ranking

1. If you’re not using the Standard Theme yet, I can’t recommend it enough. See the first point of my Advice for Bloggers post. It has instructions on how to order and install it.
2. Install the Alexa toolbar. You need to use Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer as your browser. I’m not a fan of toolbars, but this one is neat.
3. Register for an Alexa account. It’s easy and free.
4. Claim your site on Alexa.
5. Install the Alexa widget to your blog.

6. View your blog and all other blogs using the browser where the toolbar is installed. So if you installed it in Chrome, then view all blogs in Chrome. The same for Firefox or Internet Explorer.

7. Write a review for the blogs you like on the Alexa review system and give them high scores. The word on the street is that if you write negative reviews or give low scores, it hurts your blog ranking. So only review the sites and blogs that you like. The more reviews you write, the better.

8. Ask the people who like your blog to write a positive review for it on Alexa.

9. Blog consistently (at least once a week) and write quality content that people want to share. Don’t beg or ask them to share your posts. If what you write is valuable and edifying, people will share your posts naturally.

10. Be patient. The following will you give an idea of the pace by which my Alexa score dropped. I’ve been tracking it once a month since March.

4/4/12  – Alexa global rank = 262,700

5/5/12 – Alexa global rank = 135,307

6/6/12 – Alexa global rank = 99,870

How To Get Any Android App or Game Free

This is a short, straight-forward tutorial so there should be no difficulties. There isn't much work involved. You will have a new one-stop place for apps, the Black Market and be able to remove license checks, ads and create modified .APK files if you please with Lucky Patcher. Lets get started.

Requirements:

1. You must have a rooted device if you want to be able to remove license checks and ads. With the Black Market, a good few things will be alright without root, but 70% of the things need you to have a rooted device. Check out XDA Developers on how to achieve this for your phone/tablet. It varies so I won't be covering this, sorry.

2. You have to allow the installation of non-market apps. If you are unsure how to do this, follow whats in the code box bellow:

Might differ slightly depending on your phone, but it will be very similar.

3. You have to download Black Market and Lucky Patcher and install them on your device. (Obviously) I will not be providing these since they are easily available on TPB.

All set? Lets begin then!

Open the Black Market app and from there, you can browse through apps and games, or search for one if your looking for something in particular. Once you find what you want, click on it and you will be taken to its page where it gives the description, screenshots and package permissions. Just like the Play Market. Under the title you will see the app/game's Crack Status:

No/Not Needed: Your in business! Will worth perfectly, even without a rooted device. Silly Dev forgot to protect their apps from pricacy.

Cracked: Self-explaining really. These sometimes work but quiet often, you need to be rooted for the crack to actually function. Hit and miss.

Need to crack: Rare you will come across this but, ugh! TSF Shell and ROM Toolbox Pro are two notable ones. Luckily for us, Lucky Patcher has custom patches for these! Biggrin Normally they are a nightmare to crack and will foil any attempts you make. SPB Shell 3D broke my heart and I walked away a broken man... Sad

When using Lucky Patcher, find the app you want to crack. You will have a few options available:

Remove License Verification
Remove Google Ads
Change Permissions and Activities
Create Modified apk
Manual Patcher
Backup

Whatever you pick, there is usually a few options. Fiddle around with whatever you want, just make sure to backup the original file to be safe.

When removing the license verification, most of the time using "Auto Modes" will do the trick with no hassle, all you need to do is tap "Apply". You will be prompted letting you know that the action was sucessful, semi-sucessful or that it failed. Semi-sucessful apps can work so try them out. If not, try tweaking your options.

For members the tabs work but for guests they do not.

If you have tabs with hidden fid's they cannot be the first sorted forum.

What does that mean you ask?

fid 1 (staff hidden)
fid 2 (member only)
fid 3
fid 4

You have 2 tabs...

Tab1 = fid 1, fid 3
Tab2 = fid 2, fid 4

Staff can see the tabs normally because they have access to all forums.

Member will have a problem because they can't see fid 1 and Tab1 has fid1 sorted first. To correct you alter the sort order of fid 1 to be last so that fid 3 is the first sorted.

CUSTOMIZING
===================================
This adds a CSS to your database called tabbed.css. It should be in your theme listing for css in admincp. You can alter that css for custom changes. Currently the css uses the images/thead_bg.gif as the background image. Alter to suit your needs. You can run multiple templates and have a different menu for each by altering the tabbed.css. If your theme does not have the tabbed.css installed please take the text out of the file inside the extras folder and paste it.
extras/tabbed.css is the file just in case you need it.

.shadetabs li a.selected is the selected tab...the one that's active.
.shadetabs li a are the other tabs.

How to make old plugins work on new mybb (GUIDE)

I see some of you are having issues with using your old plugins after you updated mybb to 1.6 from any lower version.

All you do is open the plugin php file in notepad,
Look for this line:

"compatibility" => "1.4*",

And replace for this line:

"compatibility" => "*",

Now save the file and upload to the plugin folder, it should now work on 1.6, not all plugins work this way but over 90% do, so give it a trylugins work this way but over 90% do, so give it a try
